Relativity Web

The Relativity Web is an educational tool designed to explore general relativity. It consists of a Lycra sheet that stretches under the weight of an object, providing an analogy to the spacetime described by Einstein’s theory of general relativity.
Context & Objectives
The “table de relativité” is a key project of the AurorAlpes association. In 2026, the project expanded with the involvement of the GIPSA-Lab of Grenoble, which enabled the development of educational outreach programs focused on gravitational waves.
